Important Information For Your Property:
A representative of Townsend Accommodation Limited will visit the property on a monthly basis to carry out an inspection of the condition of the property to ensure that the terms of your tenancy agreements are being adhered to. Please see list of cleaning guidelines attached. The date of the inspection will be notified to you in writing. At this time please feel free to discuss any issues arising that you may be concerned about and we will do our best to resolve matters
Should you experience any maintenance problems at any time during your tenancy please contact our office. Issues such as leaks, appliance breakdowns, electrical faults should be reported to us immediately by telephone. Out of office hours a message may be left on our answerphone.
If the central heating/hot water system within this property is currently covered by a maintenance contract with Blue Flame and you experience any breakdown requiring urgent attention out of office hours please telephone 0800 074 9132
If the central heating system is not covered by a maintainance contract, please telephone our office to report the fault.
In the interests of hygiene it is imperative that refuse/household waste is put out for weekly collection. Waste collection is carried out in Falmouth on a Tuesday and in Penryn on a Wednesday. It is the responsibility of each householder to ensure that their waste is suitably contained and placed at the edge of the property. The waste should not be placed out on the highway until 7:00am on the day of collection; otherwise the resident may face a fly tipping charge.

Smoke Detectors – In accordance with Fire Safety Regulations you should test the smoke detectors in the property at least once a month. Should any detector appear to be faulty you should report this to our office.
Open FIRE PLACES and CANDLES should NOT be used as this will invalidate your landlord's building insurance.
If you use fairy lights or similar in the property you are responsible for ensuring that these are safe eg. will not pose any fire risk or hazard.
ALL houses are designated as 'non-smoking' properties, as stated in your tenancy contracts
Television Licence – Please be advised that your landlord does not supply a television licence. Should you wish to use a television within the property you should familiarize yourself with current legislation regarding licences. To do this please visit:
